If you are a little Windows handy, you can install a second copy of BK6, just direct the installation process to another directory than the default C:\Program Files\Brother's Keeper\
Call the startup shortcut maybe BK-Extra. You then copy your database (the whole folder) to another, new folder and point the BK-Extra to this copy-database.
If you want to avoid changing things in the copy, you can write protect the files (as far as I remember BK can now handle read-only files, like from a CD)

Dette forslaget kreve muligens litt ekstra Windows kunnskaper.
Anta at du vil kontrollere opplysninger i en familiegren med opplysninger i en annen uten å skrive ut en mengde papirkopier. Dette lar seg gjøre ved å installere to kopier av programmet, en kopi i hver sin mappe.
Deretter kopierer du datamappen og gir den et nytt navn, f.eks. -kopi.
Denne kopien brukes kun til å lese i, ikke til oppdateringer.
