REUSE

Ved Person:

You should not see *reuse*

It is a code that my program uses to know which records have been deleted and can be reused.

So normally those records are not visible and the user should not see that.

If someone see that, then have them go to the main BK screen and pick File, Re-Index the database and click Index button.

If they still see it, tell me where exactly they see it.

If you delete a person from the Edit screen using the top menu Delete, Delete Person, then that BK number is not used in the database.

If you have the option set to NOT automatically reuse deleted numbers, then when you add a new person, the new person will have a number at the end (it will be the highest BK number for that person.)

If you have the option set to automatically reuse deleted numbers, then when you add a new person on the Edit screen, it will give that previous BK number to the new person.

If you have deleted a lot of people, and option is set to reuse deleted numbers, you may have to Re-Index the database from time to time. When you do a File, Re-Index the database and click the Index button, it will also make list of deleted BK numbers and then it uses that list when you are adding a new person. If you have over 50 deleted people, you may have to re-index again after you reuse 50 numbers.

Note, that some things do NOT look for numbers to reuse. For example if you do a GEDCOM import, it will not look for numbers to reuse. But when you are on Edit making a new person with Add Spouse or Add Child then it will look for numbers to reuse.

Det planlegges for 4 kurs (grunnkurs og videregående) i Oslo i løpet av 2024. Disse vil avholdes på lørdager i 2024 (dato senere) kl. 10.00 - 15.00 i Oslo/Akershus.

Av disse planlegger to VIDEREGÅENDE KUSA (bygger på kunnskapsnivå i et Grunnkurs) i løpet av 2024 (tas med forbehold om tilstrekkelig påmeldte).
